Cricket is one of the most followed sports in the world. People are keen about this game and over the years it has grown in the continent of Africa. One such example of an intense adherence was cited at Tanzania in Africa. In the above picture, which was tweeted from ICC’s Twitter account, we see a game of cricket underway at the Mt Kilimanjaro, which is the highest mountain in Africa.

The game was played in September 2014 at an altitude of 5,730 meters high at a flat crater just below the peak. The picture perfectly captures the spirit and love for the game at the highest altitude in Africa. The continent is extremely passionate about sports about it and the picture corroborates the belief.

It’s an illustration to the fact that, one can overcome any barrier if there is a passion for it. Any cricketer wouldn’t prefer these conditions suitable for the game but former South African cricketer Makhaya Ntini and former English spinner Ashley Giles played in the game. Half level oxygen, rocky pitch, cardboard stumps doesn’t speak in the favour of the game but truly shows the love and passion for the game.
