Cricket fraternity reacts to Shaun Marsh and Steve Smith centuries in 3rd Test against Sri Lanka

It may be too late in the series but Australia are battling it out for their pride and glory. As it goes with the saying, better late than never, Australian opener Shaun Marsh and skipper Steve Smith have stuck to their guns and smashed a century each in the third Test between Sri Lanka and Australia at SSC Colombo. After the fall of David Warner on Day 2, another Australian collapse looked on the cards. But it wasn’t to be as Marsh and Smith had other ideas. ALSO READ: Nathan Lyon calls Sri Lanka “home bully”?

Marsh and Smith played with great temperament and provided no room for error. Sri Lankan bowlers were in desperate need of a wicket but failed in achieving so. Marsh has surely justified his selection and repaid the faith shown by selectors. Their partnership has steered Australia to a commanding position as they are well placed at 235 for the loss of one wicket and are now trailing by 120 runs at Lunch on Day 3.
