January 26, 2016 marks the 228th Australia Day, celebrated annually to mark the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales, and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip.
In simple words, it can also be called as the anniversary of Australia. This day is celebrated in the whole nation every year as national day of Australia. Not only Australian cricketers, players from around the globe sent their wishes to their Australian counterparts and fans. Many cricketers posted their best wishes and greetings from their social media accounts. Australian cricket team is currently playing home Twenty20 International (T20I) series against the Indian cricket team.
