Did England bowlers get involved in ball-tampering during third Test against Pakistan?

The match has ended now but this issue of ball tampering is gaining momentum, especially amongst the Pakistani fans.

The third Test between England and Pakistan ended in a pretty dramatic way. With the target of 343 for Pakistan, the match was expected to end in a draw but a sudden collapse by the visitors in the final innings saw England win the match by 141 runs at Edgbaston.

After the match, the analysis began over Pakistan’s loss and a PTV Sports Anchor, Dr Nauman Niaz raised the question of ball tampering by England players on the final day of the Test. The anchor also aired some footage from the match where the bowlers could be seen rubbing the ball against their trousers, which was ball tampering according to the anchor. The match has ended now but this issue of ball tampering is gaining momentum, especially amongst the Pakistani fans. As per the current status, match referee Richie Richardson has not reported about any such issue to the ICC for but this thing may escalate in next 24 hours.
