‘Grateful’ Virat Kohli thanks his fans; sports a new stylish hairdo ahead of New Zealand series

Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli is a youth icon in every sense. With his tremendous hard work, discipline and work ethics, he has achieved in little time what others take a lifetime to. Yes, the promoter of a fashion clothing line ‘WROGN’ himself is a style icon. Be it with his beard, his attire, the confidence with which he carries himself or his hairdo, the 27-year-old cricketer makes a style statement time and again.
With a busy home season coming up, where Kohli will be expected to play a major role in Indian cricket, the Delhi lad is currently relaxing at his hometown in Delhi. His schedule at present includes training at the gym in the morning and spending quality time with friends and family. He added a new chore to his routine on Thursday when he used his time away from cricket to get his hairstyling done. The Indian run-machine took to his official Instagram account to post a collage of pictures flaunting his new hairdo. He captioned the collage as: “Snip update. @apenigeorge has got all angles covered on this one. Great work bro.”
Kohli showed his new haircut to his fans through four different angles in the collage: front, left profile, right profile and the back side. Besides, he also praised his hair stylist Apeni George for the wonderful work she did with his hair. Before posting this collage, Kohli posted a small video thanking his fans for their continuous love and support and also to let them know how grateful he is for it. The occasion was his Instagram following touching the 7 million mark. In addition, Kohli also has over 12 million followers on micro-blogging site Twitter. He captured the video and shared it through his official Instagram account. It seems the video was captured right after his session at the gym as he can be seen surrounded by the gym equipments and machines. Also, he captured the video before getting the new hairdo, something which is visible in it. The caption accompanying the video read: “Thank you. You all keep making me Feel blessed always.”
Kohli is busy unwinding ahead of a gruelling Test-heavy season, where he will lead India in a record 13 Tests apart from playing in a few limited-overs games as well. He is spending some quality time with his beloved ones; his nephew Aarav, his pet dog Bruno and training like a beast at the gym. The star cricketer keeps sharing all these developments with his fans on the social media. Kohli’s first assignment in this new season begins next week when India take on New Zealand in the first Test of three-match series commencing in Kanpur from September 22.
