Here’s Ravichandran Ashwin’s pitch report ahead of India-West Indies 1st T20I

Sometimes he is a nightmare for batsmen, while at times he inflicts similar damage with the bat. Not just on the field, he is terrifying for the trolls on social media as well. Earlier, we have also seen him donning a reporter’s hat and asking questions to opponent captain in the press conference and throwing tough questions. He is none other than India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and these are the different faces of him. Probably, there is nothing Ashwin cannot do.

Ahead of the first T20I between India and West Indies at Lauderhill, Florida, Ashwin once again did something out of the box by becoming a pitch inspector. It was a well-summarised pitch report by Ashwin with some attractive insights, which speaks about his understanding about the game. ALSO READ: Watch Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni sweat it out in the nets in Florida

He said that the practice track had some turn but the track in which the match will be played is really solid which will make the ball come on to the bat pretty nicely. Surely, this gives an upper hand to the batsmen and Ashwin further spoke about what his teammate Shikhar Dhawan pointed out to him about the wind factor at this venue.

There will be a strong wind blowing towards one side, which will make the ball travel faster in the direction of the win as compared to the other side. This will also assist the bowlers as they can swing the ball with the help of some strong wind. ALSO READ: India vs West Indies 2016, 1st T20I at Florida: Pick of the Tweets
