Virender Sehwag has done it again! The former Indian cricketer, who has developed an uncanny habit of wishing members of cricket fraternity in a witty style and entertaining his fans, did it again on Thursday. It was former Indian opener Chetan Chauhan’s birthday and Sehwag did not let go of this opportunity to wish him his way. Sehwag equated Chauhan with the famous character played by legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in his cult classic ‘Agneepath’. The name of Amitabh’s character in the movie was Vijay Deenanath Chauhan and had a famous dialogue where the character introduced himself with his full name including parents’ name, profession and age. It quickly became popular amongst masses and is enacted by many even today. Sehwag wrote on his Twitter handle, “Naam -Chetan Pratap Singh Chauhan, Kaam- DDCA VP/NIFT chairman, Record-1st player 2000 test runs w/o century, Umar-Aaj Poori 69,” which describes Chauhan just the way Amitabh introduced his character in Agneepath.

Sehwag also added a rather forgettable record which Chauhan holds, of scoring 2,000 Test runs without getting a hundred. Both Sehwag and Chauhan come from Delhi and have worked together during their association with the DDCA, of which the latter has been a vice president. We are sure Chauhan would love this little gesture by Viru and take it sportingly.
