A lot has been said about Virat Kohli being the next big thing in the world of cricket. For Kohli, to be compared to his idol is a big compliment to his skills as a world-class player.
Many legends have compared Kohli to the batting stalwart Sachin Tendulkar and joining the league now is former Australian cricketer Ian Healy.
Healy said the above words in praise of the Indian vice-captain as he compared him with Tendulkar.
Kohli, who scored two hundreds in the first Test at Adelaide, has eight hundreds in 30 Tests but in One Day Internationals (ODIs), he is on verge of breaking every record. He is the fastest to reach 20 ODI hundreds, having taken 64 innings less than Tendulkar. At this rate, Kohli may surpass Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI hundreds.
