Tweeting from his official account, Lara kicked off a game saying that more fun can be made out of English team’s early exit from the tournament after losing to Bangladesh by 15 runs in their last match.

England’s dismal show in the ongoing tournament has disappointed many as they lost four out of the five matches they played so far against Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The team’s only win came against Scotland and play their final match of the World Cup against Afghanistan on Friday. The team’s early exit has seen them be the butt of jokes in the social media space and now with Lara joining the act, it seems further embarrassment is in store for the nation that invented the sport. (ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: Points Table)
