Google never fails to seize on the opportunity with current trends. For a major of the world, the day means the ICC Cricket World Cup clash quarter-final clash between India and their neighbours Bangladesh.
Celebrating that mood, Google has come up with a doodle, which shows illustrated silhouette figures of six batsmen, playing strokes with flags of both nations aesthetically positioned in the foreground. This is the fourth doodle to be released during the mega-event. The American search-engine has celebrated cricket earlier as well during previous ICC events. (India vs Bangladesh: Pick of the tweets)
India and Bangladesh have faced each other twice in World Cup games, with both the sides winning one time. It’s a quarter-final clash and India enter the contest as clear favourites but can’t afford to take Bangladesh lightly, who have produced some brilliant displays throughout the competition.
