Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday made an impressive commentary debut during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match between India and Pakistan in Adelaide.

As reported by Press Trust of India, the actor started off his commentary stint with Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev and former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar in the pre-match show.

Bachchan then shared the commentary box with Aakash Chopra and Akhtar, followed by Kapil, Rahul Dravid and Arun Lal. He made comments on Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan’s technique against the short ball and later discussed India’s winning moments in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Dravid asked Bachchan, who is a cricket fan, on his whereabouts during the 1983 World Cup final and he said he watched it at home with his family. The 72-year-old actor spent half an hour in the commentary box and witnessed Rohit Sharma’s wicket in the eighth over off Sohail Khan.
