Despite India’s win by a slender margin against Bangladesh on Wednesday, Pakistan still have a chance to make it to the semi-finals but to do so they will have to beat Australia in the decisive encounter at Mohali on Friday. The situation is similar for Australia as well; they need to conquer Pakistan to be in a comfortable position for the semi-finals. If they lose, their net run-rate takes a hit and they will be up with a huge task of beating India by a massive margin on Sunday. Pakistan vs Australia at Mohali: Live Streaming, ICC World T20 2016

Keeping it simple, both teams will give it all in order to safeguard their chances for the next round. Australia, Pakistan and India are all eyeing for that one spot. If Pakistan lose this, in all probability this will be Shahid Afridi’s last international match. Curtains will come down on a roller coaster of a career that has spanned 20 years. The unpredictability of Pakistan makes them a dangerous unit. If their bowling clicks, they might well have the last laugh at Mohali.

Australian batting wears a dominant look. Usman Khawaja’s good form has resulted in Aaron Finch getting dropped from the T20I side and mind you, Finch is the No. 1 T20I batsman. However, he finds his way back to the side at the expense of Mitchell Marsh. David Warner batting in the middle-order also gives depth to the line-up. All-rounder Shane Watson will play more freely as he has announced his international retirement that will be in effect post this tournament. With Wahab Riaz back in the side, we can expect a part 2 of his battle with Watson. Australia’s weakness lies in their bowling and they will up against Pakistani batting line-up, which has not been at best.

Australia have won the toss and have elected to bat. We bring you some of the best tweets from this crucial Super 10 encounter:
