India will meet West Indies for the fourth and final time in the ongoing Test series in the Caribbean at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain. India have already won the series but this is more than a dead rubber. India will have to win this to ensure the the No.1 Test ranking stays with them.
If India wins, which is most likely to happen if there is not much interruption of rain, they will remain at the top in the ICC Test rankings. On the other hand, West Indies has actually nothing more to lose in this series, all they should eye is some competitive performance like they did in the second Test.
So far, West Indies bowlers have shown some fight in this series and has the ability to turn things around. If West Indies somehow managed to draw this match then it will be a big boost for them.
