Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 18th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Motera, Ahmedabad, on Tuesday. RR, high on confidence, are unbeaten with five wins from five games, whereas KXIP have lost three of the four matches.
RR, who have been excellent in all the three departments of the game, thrashed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at their home ground — boosted by the inclusion of Shane Watson, who put on a century stand with Ajinkya Rahane. In the bowling department, Chris Morris proved yet again why he is an ideal Twenty20 (T20) bowler. Pravin Tambe went for few runs but still remains a big asset for RR.
On the other hand, KXIP flopped yet again when they took on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Glenn Maxwell looked rusty. David Miller warmed the benches to make way for Thisara Perera. On paper and recent form, RR definitely are the clear favourites in this exciting game.
