Table-toppers Rajasthan Royals (RR) will look to decimate more blues on bottom residents Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at Motera in Ahmedabad on Friday. This game will mark the 22nd match of the tournament.

RR so far in the tournament has punched above their weight and won five matches out of their six outings. They are well paced at the top of the table but in their last encounter against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), things didn’t go their way and the game resulted in a super over. KXIP won the game in a super over courtesy to Shaun Marsh for his brilliance exhibition with the bat. RR has a well-balanced team and every player has stepped out and performed so far. Ajinkya Rahane has been the highest run scorer in the tournament so far.

RCB acquaint array of superstars like AB De Villiers, Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and Mitchell Starc. Despite having a plethora of superstars, RCB have only managed to win a solitary game out of their four outings. RCB suffered another huge blow in their previous encounter against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Bangalore. To add to their woes Gayle missed out the last match due to an injury. The bowling department looked vulnerable; except Starc all bowlers were taken for cleaners by Suresh Raina and Dwayne Smith. Chasing 182, RCB got off to promising start but failed to capitalize on it, they kept losing wickets on a regular basis and the run out of De Villiers changed the course of the match. Eventually they lost the match by 27 runs.

RCB will be desperate to win this game to keep their hopes alive of making it to the play-offs. With the match being played at Ahmedabad, RR emerge as favourites. Expect a run-fest. Criclife present you the pick of the tweets.
