The third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 will be played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Gujarat Lions (GL) at Mohali. Suresh Raina will be leading GL side as full time captain for the first time in this tournament. Earlier, he has captained the Chennai Super Kings’ side in the absence of MS Dhoni but never as a full time skipper.
On the other hand, KXIP will be starting this season of IPL with a new captain — David Miller. He is going to be the sixth captain for KXIP side. They have a pretty decent batting line up with their star batsman Glenn Maxwell in good form, he has the ability to turn the game on its head. they are equally backed by their bowling which will be led by Mitchell Johnson.
With two new full time captains leading their respective sides for the first time, one can expect some good contest with both bat and ball. The match will start at 8.00 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be telecast live on Sony Six, Set Max and can be watch by live streaming through Hotstar.
