The 20th match of the ninth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Sunday. This will be the second game of the day with Gujarat Lions (GL) winning the first one against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Looking at the points table, MS Dhoni-led RPS is currently at seventh position with only one win in four matches so far. Whereas, Gautam Gambhir-led KKR is at second position with three victories in four matches. With Kevin Pietersen being ruled out from RPS side due to his calf injury, Dhoni would like to go with Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh as his fourth overseas player in his team. KKR looks a very confident side with good bowling attack and excellent consistent batting by their opening pair Robin Uthappa and Gambhir. On the other hand, RPS need to win this match to regain their form.
The match will start at 8 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be telecasted live on Sony Six, Set Max and the live streaming can be watched here on Star Sports website.
