Anywhere you go in India or be around Indians, one debate is unavoidable and that is Mumbai vs Delhi. The rivalry has now extended to Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite the table standings, this is one contest either side hates to lose. Mumbai Indians (MI) have been much more successful than Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the IPL but when we see see the head-to-head between these two sides, both have won eight apiece. Playing a day match in Delhi, one would definitely avoid fielding first but in this IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been the only side to have won batting first. The history has prompted Rohit Sharma, MI skipper to bat first after winning the toss.
Mumbai are playing an unchanged side, which means Martin Guptill will be sitting out again. Delhi Daredevils (DD) have brought in Imran Tahir in place of Carlos Brathwaite. Fair call as we expect the track at Feroz Shah Kotla to turn. Both sides will rely heavily on their batting. Rohit has been in a good form and for Delhi, Quinton de Kock has been phenomenal.
