Match 21 of Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Mohali on Monday. Both the teams have had a poor start to the season and are languishing at the bottom of the table. A major reason for hosts KXIP’s poor performance has been the failure of M&M — Glenn Maxwell and skipper David Miller. When the side had their best-ever IPL performance in 2014, where they reached the final, it was the Maxwell-Miller duo that took the side to the final hurdle. Both scored consistently and heavily in that edition. But it is their failure that his hurting the side’s prospect. KXIP will hope that they get back to form and fire against MI.

On the other hand, MI have been a blow-hot-blow-cold team so far. They have struggled with the team combinations and have not yet figured out their best playing XI. When their bowlers fire, batsmen fail and vice versa; a fact that too has affected team’s fortunes. MI will hope that they collectively fire as a unit against KXIP in their den and get back to winning ways. The match will begin at 8 PM and is expected to be the top trend on social media.
