After an eventful Test series, Pakistan will play Ireland in a One-Day International (ODI) series before playing against England. In the recent times, Ireland have played plenty amount of ODI cricket but whenever these two sides play against each other, we cannot help but recall the 2007 World Cup match, which the Irish side won it and created a huge upset.
Recently, they played a five ODI series against Afghanistan which ended in draw with 2-2 and before that, the Irish played again Sri Lanka as well at home, which they lost 2-0. On the other hand, Pakistan last played an ODI series in the start of the year against New Zealand, which they lost by 2-0 and before that they lost to England in UAE 3-1.
Pakistan’s ODI team is currently is not as good as their Test side but they are strong enough to defeat the Irish side. The first ODI is played at Dublin and the match is expected to start at 10:45 am local time and 03:15 pm.
