James Taylor announces engagement subsequently after early retirement from cricket

It's heart-breaking for any cricketer to retire at an early age of 26 but Taylor seems to have moved on as he has now announced his engagement just weeks after his retirement from international cricket.

Former English cricketer James Taylor was recently compelled to retire from international and all forms of cricket after being diagnosed with a serious heart condition. It’s heart-breaking for any cricketer to retire at an early age of 26 but Taylor seems to have moved on as he has now announced his engagement just weeks after his retirement from international cricket. Taylor told Good Morning Britain, “Luckily for Josie’s sake, it wasn’t just a knee jerk reaction [to his condition]. I’d had the ring for a few months, actually. We went for a nice picnic where we actually had our first picnic together, so it was pretty simple. I couldn’t get my heart racing too much. Taylor has been instrumental for Leicestershire and then Nottinghamshire in First-Class cricket with over 9,000 runs at a staggering verage of over 46. He has his surgery set for June and the world will be hoping him to recover soon.
