Navjot Singh Sidhu is not only good with shayaris but also in narrating stories. This one was heard during his stint in the sixth edition of the television reality show, Bigg Boss 6.
Unlike other nations like Australia, West Indies, England, Pakistan and New Zealand, India just could not unearth genuine fast bowlers. Kapil Dev, for long, had to shoulder the burden all alone.
During the early ‘80s, Kapil had scalped nine wickets in an innings against the West Indies when a media-man asked him: “Why can’t we produce another Kapil?”
The legendary fast bowler came up with a reply that had everybody in splits: “My mother is very old and father is no longer alive!”
