As the fifth season of the Big Bash League (BBL) progresses, the light-hearted banter between the discarded England batsman Kevin Pietersen and Australian all-rounder James Faulkner also continues. This time though it was a bit serious as their team Melbourne Stars lost their last match against Sydney Thunders by only one run, which was also their second loss in this season.
It all started with Pietersen’s tweet in which he sarcastically mentioned Faulkner as the Man of the Match because of his horrendous bowling figures of 49 runs from four overs.

In return, Faulkner replied very humbly suggesting disappointment over his performance.

Further, Pietersen also didn’t take it too far and ended it with his final tweet to Faulkner, which he agreed.
