Kieron Pollard plays his first ‘Test’ thanks to Ahmed Shehzad

Kieron Pollard could not stop himself from having a go at Ahmed Shehzad.

Kieron Pollard, the West Indies all-rounder, loves a fast-paced game! Thus, when the Pakistan openers had ambled to 11 for no loss in the seventh over in a One-Day International (ODI) against West Indies in 2013, Pollard could not stop himself from having a go at Ahmed Shehzad. Pollard, a man who is recognised as a limited-overs professional, told Shehzad, “I have never played a Test match. I guess this is my first because I am seeing a Test innings.”

It was quite an interesting exchange as the two players are equally mercurial. Luckily for the game, things didn’t go out of hand and Pollard’s remarks were ignored by the batsmen.
