Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has an uncanny knack of landing himself in unwanted controversies. In the past, he has had issues with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), due to which he was barred from entering the premises of Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Besides, he was once infamously detained at one of the airports in the United States of America (USA), which had created huge furore. On Friday, he was once again trending on the social networking space for the same reason, as this time around, he was detained at the Los Angeles airport in the same country. An upset Shah Rukh, who has had a bad year thus far with both KKR and TKR failing to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) titles respectively as well as his much promoted flick ‘Fan’ failing to set the box office on fire, took to Twitter to express his disappointment on the matter. He wrote:
I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.

Within minutes of his tweet, he started trending on Twitter and Facebook, with his fans as well as adversaries coming out and tweeting on the issue, which was resolved after the intervention of US authorities. Here are some of the top tweets that broke the internet:
I am shocked to hear about the harassment caused to @iamsrk. Security is security but this is very unfortunate and embarrassing

@iamsrk Apologies from another embarrassed American. In some ways we are so far behind. Thx for gracing our shores despite TSA’s ineptitude.
