On their way to Perth for the second Test against Australia, captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma reportedly offered their business class seats to India pacers in order to allow them more comfort.
The pace trio of Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami played a starring role in Indian team’s 31-run win in the series opening first Test at Adelaide Oval that concluded on Monday. Team coach Ravi Shastri had said he will allow his bowlers to skip the nets in order to have them complete rest ahead of the second Test starting from Friday.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan, who is in Australia on commentary duties, was on the same flight as Indian team and he tweeted about how Kohli and Anushka, who are celebrating their first wedding anniversary today, gave up their comfortably seats.
“Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches,” Vaughan tweeted on Tuesday.

Bumrah, Ishant and Shami accounted for 14 of the 20 Australian wickets to fall across the five days while clocking almost 124 overs between them.
For the first time in their history, India have won the match of a Test series on Australian tour and will be aiming to replicate their performance come Friday.
