Former Indian Premier League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi praised Supreme Court’s decision on IPL betting and spot-fixing scandal.
Modi rejoiced and seconded Supreme Court’s verdict particularly on judgements involving suspended President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) through a series of tweets on Twitter:

Earlier, Supreme Court (SC) found Srinivasan guilty of “conflict of interest” and has barred him from contesting in the BCCI Presidential elections as he is the owner of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The apex court also found Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajathan Royals (RR) co-owner Raj Kundra guilty of betting and have ordered a three member panel to decide on punishment for the two franchises in the next 6 months.
