India takes on United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Pool B fixture in Perth on Saturday in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in a bid to remain on top of the points table in their group. In the process, India will likely push for a better run rate as well if it comes into play ahead of the quarter-final. UAE cannot be taken likely as they have played some good games against Zimbabwe and Ireland where they came close to victory.
India have been on-song in the tournament, there preparation coming into the World Cup wasn’t ideal after loss against England and Australia but they have silenced all the critics with their fine performances against Pakistan and South Africa with thumping victories. India will like to maintain their winning runs while UAE will look to get their first win on the board.
India will miss the services of Mohammad Shami and it is expected that Bhuvneshwar Kumar will make his World Cup debut. For UAE, certain players it is a chance to play against their former teammates especially for their wicket-keeper Swapnil Patil who hails from Mumbai.
