The Asia Cup T20 2016 is underway with two exciting games being played. In the tournament opener, the title favourites India thrashed the hosts Bangladesh by 45 runs. While on the second day, Sri Lanka survived a major scare at the hands of UAE when they managed to beat the lowly opposition somehow by 14 runs.
The tournament now progresses as both the losing sides take on each other in the third match. Hosts Bangladesh will look to get their first win of the tournament. They have all the ingredients; crowd support, home conditions and decent bowling as well as batting attack. All they need is application of their skills and avoidance of past mistakes that cost them the match against India.
UAE, on the other hand, came into the tournament after beating all the teams in the qualifiers, including Afghanistan. They did well against Sri Lanka and if only their top order batted more sensibly, they could have caused a major upset. They will look to continue their good run against Bangladesh.
