The 25th game of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2016 is scheduled to be played between Barbados Tridents (BT) and Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill. This will be the first match in the CPL history to be played in the United States of America.
Looking at the points table, GAW are currently standing at second position with five wins in eight matches, while BT are at the fifth position with only three wins from eight matches so far. One more loss will probably end their hopes to qualify for playoffs. The Kieron Pollard-led BT will be only looking to win. On the other hand, Rayad Emrit captained GAW hasn’t done well since the departure of their previous skipper Martin Guptill, who led the side to four consecutive wins in the tournament.
Both these teams have some of the biggest names from the cricket world. The match will begin at 19:00 PM local time on July 28 and 1.30 AM IST on July 29 and will be live streamed on Sony LIV.
