The 14th match of 2016 edition of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will be played between Barbados Tridents (BT) and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKNP) at Bridgetown. Both the teams have won only one match so far in the tournament but BT is ahead in the points table because of their superior net run rate and also they have played three matches so far, whereas, SKNP have played five games and lost four out of it.
The Kieron Pollard-led BT were the runner-up team in the last season of CPL and possesses some quality players like AB de Villiers, Wayne Parnell, Shoaib Malik, etc. On the other hand, SKNP too consists a good side with Faf du Plessis as their skipper along with somewell-knownn star players like Samuel Badree, Brad Hodge, Lendl Simmons, Tabraiz Shamsi, etc.
Both the sides haven’t performed very well so far and with the tournament has reached to the half-stage and from here on, any lost match may cost them in qualifying for semi-final. The match will begin at 8 PM local time on July 13 and 4.30 AM IST on July 14 and will be live streamed on Sony LIV.
