The 16th game of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2016 is scheduled to be played between Barbados Tridents (BT) and Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) at Bridgetown. There is very little separating the two teams as Kieron Pollard-led BT sit at the third spot while Dwayne Bravo-led TKR are placed at the fourth spot in the points table.
Both the sides have two wins each but it is an extra point earned from a no result match that has put BT ahead of TKR. The teams boast of some of the biggest names in T20 cricket. AB de Villiers, who single-handedly won the last match for his side, Pollard, Shoaib Malik form the core of BT while Bravo, Hashim Amla, Brendon McCullum and Sunil Narine are stars for TKR.
When these two sides met earlier in the tournament, TKR beat BT by 11 runs in a close encounter. Expect yet another enthralling contest when these two teams take on each other. The match will begin at 12:00 PM local time and 9.30 PM IST on July 16 and will be live streamed on Sony LIV.
