The Euro 2016 fever is on and the tournament has finally progressed to it’s business end with the ultimate game around the corner. The high-voltage final will be played between France and Portugal at Stade de France stadium, Paris on Sunday. The tournament was started back in 1960 with Soviet Union being the first winner of the tournament. Since then, this tournament have been played regularly after a gap of four years.
This is the 16th Euro Cup tournament and France has won it twice so far, while Portugal has never tastes success and have been runners up once back in 2004. The tournament started on June 10 and is one of the most followed football tournaments across the globe. Interestingly, many cricketers are avid followers of the tournament. Indian star batsman Virat Kohli also happens to be one of the biggest fans of German footballer Toni Kroos.
Both the teams have drilled extremely hard to chisel their path into the final. France holds an upper hand but this will be the best chance for Portugal to create history. The final match of the tournament will begin at 12:30 PM IST and will be live streamed on Sony Liv.
