The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will see on Monday the first match of Associates with Ireland taking on West Indies at Nelson in New Zealand.
Ireland, who will make their third appearance in World Cup, having made their first in 2007, are well capable of pulling off surprises and beating big teams. At the same time, the West Indies have the knack of being unpredictable. On one end they have some quality match-winners and the side can be frustrating at time. Under new skipper Jason Holder, the team from Caribbean are favourites for this contest but with Ireland will draw inspiration from the Scotland’s brilliant display against West Indies in the warm-up tie.
