It’s not often that India is playing a home series and have lost all the three matches they have played. First India lost the Twenty20 International (T20I) series 2-0 against South Africa and followed it up with a defeat in the 1st One-Day International (ODI) at Kanpur on Sunday.
It was a match that India should have won. Rohit Sharma’s spectacular hundred was overshadowed by AB de Villiers. India are looking forward to make a comeback and Indore’s Holkar Stadium is the best venue for it. They have won all their three ODIs at this venue.
India will desperately look forward to make a comeback and if they lose this they will have the daunting task of winning the last three games in order to win the series. Ravichandran’s Ashwin’s injury will act as a big blow to India and Harbhajan Singh is likely to get a game here. Here are the likely playing XIs of both the sides.
India (probable XI): Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni (c) (wk), Stuart Binny, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma
South Africa (probable XI): Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock (wk), Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers (c), David Miller, JP Duminy, Farhaan Behardien, Morne Morkel, Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir.
The live streaming for the second ODI between India and South Africa to be played at Indore is available in the official website of Star Sports.
