After winning the first Test at Mohali, it was a golden chance for India to gain a 2-0 lead at Bangalore but the rain gods spoilt the hosts party and saved the visitors. Back to back four days of the second Test were washed out after India’s brilliant start on Day 1.
It was clear that except captain AB de Villiers, no other South African batsman was able to handle the Indian spin attack. The Proteas are aware of the fact that there is no room for error at Nagpur, as one more defeat will lead to a series loss and that too will be the first away series loss since 2006 for them.
Will Proteas bounce back to level the series or India will make it 2-0 and gain an unquestionable lead?
