England maybe still rejoicing their Ashes glory but playing against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi is a different challenge all together. England, a side heavily reliant on seam bowlers will be up against Pakistan’s spin attack and will play on surfaces that won’t really be conducive for seamers.

England have horrid memories of their previous tour to UAE. In 2011-12, England were on a high after winning the Test mace after winning series at home against Sri Lanka and India but Pakistan thrashed them 3-0. The Alastair Cook-led English team will hope to turn the tides this time. Leg-spinner Adil Rashid is expected to make his Test debut for England at Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan veteran Younis Khan is expected to surpass Javed Miandad’s Test tally in this game and will eye for another Test win. The Misbah-ul-Haq led Pakistan start as favourites but a spirited England will be all up for the challenge.
