The 49th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 will be played between Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. Though the match has little significance for RPS, who have been knocked out of the tournament, DD are fighting it out for a place in the playoffs and for them, it will be a crucial tie.
Under the guidance of wily old fox Zaheer Khan and the ‘wall’ Rahul Dravid, DD have done exceptionally well this season. Not to mention the presence of Paddy Upton as the coach has been outstanding and has helped young players play to their potential. This has turned out as the renaissance year for the DD and a place in the playoffs will only be an apt reward to it.
RPS on the other hand have had a forgettable season, which was a story of injuries with all their front-line foreign recruits getting injured. Though it will be harsh on them to judge a side which was making its debut this season, we can only expect them to come back a better side next year. The match will start at 8.00 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be telecast live on Sony Six, Set Max and can be watched on Starsports.com by live streaming here.
