With more rain in forecast in Brisbane, there is a doubt over the match between Australia and Bangladesh. This would have been both the sides’ second match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and both having won their respective first match were looking forward to build the lead in Pool A table, which New Zealand leads comfortably with six points. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: Full Coverage
This would have been Michael Clarke’s return game and it seems he will have to wait. It’s a bigger setback for Australia, who were favourites for this match.
Many homes in Queensland have been battered by the cyclone and the football and rugby matches have already been called off. These sports can carry-on even with rain and such is the situation that these too had to be called off, so there’s a grim chance of the match taking place.
However, stay tuned for the live updates and pick of the tweets.
