Indian comedian Kapil Sharma‘s popularity transcends the national borders. He is a huge hit among the South Asian population overseas too. Kapil is a Punjabi and that is a language that many in Pakistan also speak.
Recently, Kapil was seen with Pakistan bowling legend Wasim Akram and his wife Shaneria Khan. Shaneria posted the selfie from his official Instagram where all three are seen together.
Despite sharing an intense rivalry, celebrities in India and Pakistan share good camaraderie and are huge hits with the fans in both nations. Akram is currently in India as he is the bowling coach of Shah Rukh Khan co-owned Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Shah Rukh appeared in the first episode of Kapil’s new show — The Kapil Sharma Show.
