Look who is playing younger Sachin Tendulkar in his film!

There is a big development related to the movie. While we know that the master blaster will be reprising himself on the screen, the role of younger Sachin has been a mystery so far.

The most trending topic amongst scores of die-hard Indian cricket fans these days is the upcoming docu-pic on the life of greatest Indian cricketer ever Sachin Tendulkar. In the season of biopics, the fans are eagerly awaiting the release of India’s famous son’s life story on celluloid. Though there are others too; Azhar on the life of former captain Mohammad Azharuddin and MS Dhoni – The Untold Story on the life of current Indian captain MS Dhoni, the excitement for ‘Sachin’ beats them all.

And now there is a big development related to the movie. While we know that the master blaster will be reprising himself on the screen, the role of younger Sachin will be played by his son Arjun. The makers reportedly hunted for a young boy who could play as good as Sachin for long before realizing who better than the son could do justice to daddy’s roll.

Arjun not only looks like his father, but also has similar body language and mannerisms. Forty per cent of this 2 hour-long film will have real footage of Sachin’s epic matches and innings, apart from few little-known facts from his personal and family life. A few portions of the film, whose release date is still unclear, have been shot at Sachin’s Bandra residence.
