The Wanderers at Johannesburg witnessed a stunning feat from AB de Villiers, when the South African batsman blasted his way to the fastest One-Day International (ODI) hundred. That wasn’t just it. During the second innings of the match between South Africa and West Indies, the stadium stood witness to a very special romantic scene.
In an innovative way to propose his girl-friend, a guy used the giant screen to best effect. The screen displayed, “Shaista Kerbelkar will you marry me?”
Wonders for him, the girl said, “Yes!”
This romantic scene was captured by Neeru Bhatia and shared on her twitter account. Neeru works for The Week Magazine as Senior Special Correspondent in New Delhi.
