Australian captain Michael Clarke is making it a habit to ensure a roar of laughter in press conferences. Ahead of the third Ashes Test, Clarke once against found himself raising laughs because of the word “sex’.
Talking to the reporters about Australia’s comeback win at Lord’s, Clarke said, “It’s all about executing the skills to have sex”. Amidst giggles in the room, embarrassed Clarke quickly corrected it to “success” and smiled, “It’s not the first time it has happened with me.”
During the World Cup 2015, a reporter caught in the ‘sex-success’ goof-up as BBC reporter Stephan Shelmit asked Clarke, “Michael you’ve had tremendous sex … as Australia captain” amid roars of laughter even as the reporter corrected himself.
Clarke tweeted about the funny incident ahead of the press conference in Birmingham and David Warner replied to that.
