Indian skipper MS Dhoni is known for his cool and calm behaviour on and off the field. No matter, how tense the situation is, Dhoni is always calm and doesn’t let the situation get the better of him. India registered a fine victory in the decisive encounter against Bangladesh on Wednesday and kept the hunt for the semi-finals alive.
The nail-biting encounter demanded immense calmness to which Dhoni responded successfully but what triggered him is a question raised by a journalist in the post match conference. Prior to the game, expectations were such that India will win the game with a comprehensive margin and further improve their net run-rate but it wasn’t to be.
After such a high voltage match, Dhoni went quite furious on a journalist and said, “You are unhappy that India won. Your voice, tone and question tells me that you are unhappy about it. And talking about cricket matches, they don’t have a script. You have to analyse that after losing the toss, the pitch that we played on was the reason why we could not score big.”
The below video will give the clear picture of the incident and how Dhoni responded.
The words were enough to settle the nerves of others as Dhoni is rarely seen losing his cool and lashing out at others. But it seems Dhoni is human too.
