The series has been done and dusted as India lost the third One-Day International (ODI) in Melbourne as well and with it, lost the five-match ODI series too. They had earlier lost the first and the second ODIs in Perth and Brisbane respectively. Live Streaming: Australia vs India, 4th ODI at Canberra.
For India, it has been one-way traffic so far, with same script unfolding in all three matches. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have ruled the run charts in the series, thus ensuring India notching scored around 300 in all three games. However, their bowlers have been a massive let down, failing in defending the total on all the occasions.
For Australia, things have gone pretty much in their favour as the team under young Steve Smith have fared well in all the games so far. Their batting, lead by Smith, George Bailey and Glenn Maxwell has taken life out of Indian bowling attack. Their bowling has been the only department which needs a bit of a assessment.
The last two matches are inconsequential now, as the series has been decided. However, both the teams have plenty to look forward to. While Australia will look for whitewash, India will hope to redeem some pride. Meanwhile, we present to you the live updates along with the most hilarious tweets in our ‘pick of the tweets’ section on Australia vs India fourth ODI at Canberra.
