After registering four back-to-back victories in the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series against India, Australia are now eyeing for a whitewash as they take on the visitors for the ultimate game at Sydney today. The hosts have put them in a pole position and favourites to win at Sydney as well. For India, it’s the final opportunity to win a game and render some joy and salvage some pride.
If India loses this game then it would be rightly termed as the worst performance by them in ODIs in Australia so far. Looking at the batting line-up, India have good bunch of players at top of the order but the middle-order has been vulnerable and is yet to fire. Indian pacers have not managed to live up to the mark and had an awful time in the series so far. Live Streaming: Australia vs India, 5th ODI at Sydney
The Australian team has done an outstanding job as their bowlers have been among the wickets and their batsmen have regularly scored runs at a brisk pace. Well, it will be interesting to watch the final clash between the two giants of ODI cricket as a lot is at stake for both of them. Team India would look to attain some pride and glory by winning the last clash, whereas Australia will be looking for a whitewash. Meanwhile, we present to you the live updates along with the most hilarious tweets in our ‘pick of the tweets’ section on Australia vs India fifth ODI at Sydney.
