Pleased with India’s performance in the ongoing World Cup, Team Director Ravi Shastri said that the defending champions are well on track to win the coveted ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 for the second time after they trounced Ireland by eight wickets in their fifth match of the tournament at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Talking to Star Sports, Shastri said, “It’s a good position to be in especially given that from now on, every game is a knockout. Once you start winning, you enjoy and feel relaxed, it’s when you lose that you want to stay locked in the dressing room. Right now, the team is enjoying, they are playing football, they are a happy unit.”  (ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: Points Table)

India registered a record ninth consecutive win in the World Cups and maintain their top spot in the Pool B points table with eight points. India take on Zimbabwe next at Hobart on March 14.
