Sachin Tendulkar’s greatness extends beyond his immense batting abilities and the cricketing laurels that he has piled. In a career spanning more than two decades, Tendulkar redefined the art of batting with his elegant stroke-play and at the same time it’s his cricketing acumen which is truly commendable.

South African hard-hitting opening batsman Richard Levi also admitted that his former Mumbai Indians’ teammate is the best in this business. Levi was picked up by Mumbai Indians (MI) in the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and had opened the batting with the Master Blaster.

“I was making my IPL debut in 2012 against Chennai Super Kings. Sachin told me the first six variations, in order that R Ashwin was going to bowl. All six were right,” Levi said in a report from ESPN Cricinfo, acclaiming Tendulkar’s ability to read a bowler’s mind which made him further great.

When asked how the experience to bat with the legendary cricketer was, the South African said,” Completely apart from anything I’ve ever experienced before. No matter how well you do, all the crowd are there to watch him. The way he reads the game is something totally different. It’s incredible.”
