Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is in Bhutan as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and while promoting the organisation’s Hand Washing initiative, he spent his time playing football and cricket with the school kids.
Tendulkar first met with the Interim Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dasho Tshering Wangchuk and held a discussion regarding hand sanitation awareness initiatives.

Then he took some time out to play football with little kids.

How could Master stay away from cricket? After fulfilling his duties, he also spent time with Bhutan’s Cricket Team, discussed batting technique and wished them luck.
“The only thing better than playing cricket, is playing cricket in the mountains.. Enjoyed being back on the pitch with Bhutan’s Cricket Team. Wishing them all the best for the future,” he wrote in another post.
Tendulkar has been association with UNICEF since his playing days, lending his support in promoting various causes including polio awareness in India.
After his involvement in the organisation’s hygiene and sanitation awareness programme, he was appointed UNICEF Ambassador for South Asia to for this cause.
