Sachin Tendulkar’s two different autographs

With time and maturity, Tendulkar’s signature evolved to what it is today.

Sometimes one can possess a collector’s item without realizing that it’s a prized possession. Take for example the above autograph by Sachin Tendulkar. This was signed by Tendulkar when he was a 16-year-old — the year he made his international debut.

Tendulkar was still wet behind the ears in many ways; he was still evolving. Those who know Tendulkar during his school days and early days as an India player will vouch for the fact that he answered in monosyllables and was a very shy young lad — a far cry from the confident man he is today who can give a long, extempore speech.
